Fire Warden Training: Strengthening Our Safety Together
Ten of Suva team members took part in the annual Fire Warden Training in July, that was proudly delivered by the National Fire Authority.

The team came from a mix of departments — including HR, Finance, Wormald Fire Admins, Guardforce Admins, and CIT — all stepping up to strengthen their knowledge and leadership during emergencies.
They were trained on how to effectively lead and protect others during emergencies. The session covered essential topics such as the causes of fire, evacuation procedures, and the critical steps Fire Wardens must take during a crisis.
But it didn’t stop there — the session also explored how to respond to other emergencies like earthquakes, floods, cyclones, and even bomb threats.

By the end of the day, our team not only walked away with valuable insights, but also worked together to evaluate our current evacuation systems and discuss ways to make them even safer and more efficient.
Regular training like this is vital to our organization’s readiness and resilience. It strengthens not only our safety standards but also the confidence of our people to act when it matters most!
