Wormald Fire & Security and Guardforce Fiji Attend Europe Day 2026 Reception
We are honoured to attend the European Union Reception Night held in Suva in celebration of Europe Day 2026.
Hosted by the Delegation of the European Union to the Pacific, the reception brought together government representatives, members of the diplomatic corps, development partners, corporate stakeholders, and invited guests to commemorate Europe Day and celebrate the enduring partnerships between the European Union and the Pacific region.
This year’s celebration marked 76 years since the Schuman Declaration — recognised as the foundation of the European Union and a symbol of peace, unity, cooperation, and shared progress.
Our attendance at this year’s celebration reflected the many years of partnership shared between the European Union and Wormald Fire & Security and Guardforce Fiji. As long-standing service providers to the EU offices and residences in Fiji, we are proud to continue supporting the organisation through the delivery of professional security guarding services and electronic security systems.
We are deeply appreciative of the invitation extended to our team and honoured to once again be part of this important celebration alongside representatives from across the diplomatic, government, and business communities.
According to the European Union Delegation to the Pacific, the event highlighted the importance of international cooperation, mutual respect, and strong partnerships in addressing shared global priorities such as climate change, peace, stability, and sustainable development.
The evening also featured cultural performances, entertainment, and opportunities for networking and engagement, reflecting the spirit of unity and diversity celebrated through Europe Day each year.
